Was it classy or good sportsmanship for Angel Reese to stare down Clark and point to her ring finger at the end of the game? No. Do I feel the least bit bad for Clark? Also no.4 points

Respectfully disagree. Attendance at PBA, and Memorial indicate a greater degree of commitment than nearly any other program I have seen. When neither revenue sport has been competing for conference championships for 25 years and you pack the joint...4 points

He'd guard the opposing team's best guard/wing and be a slashing guard who's capable of being a secondary ball handler. Why can't he and Keisei be on the court together, along with a point guard? In fact, his player archetype would be perfect alongside Keisei and either Kriisa/Hepburn. You'd have two higher volume guards who take most of their shots behind the arc. And Sallis, who won't demand shots on offense, but is very efficient inside the arc and a good free throw shooter. Would definitely play a significant role here. He played a significant role for Gonzaga. This is like last offseason trying to convince some people on here that Juwan Gary would be a significant contributor for Nebraska...2 points -

Just imagine how much Mendelson could develop/improve next year if she dropped volleyball and committed full-time to basketball. It’s admirable what she is attempting to do; her determination is inspiring. However, by trying to play both college VB and college BB, she is never going to reach her full potential in either sport, in my opinion. I know that her scholarship is with the NU WBB team…and if we’re being honest, friends, the WBB team needs Maggie a lot more than the VB team does. NU VB team is absolutely LOADED.2 points

A lot of soft Iowa fans and people in general out there. No one cared when Clark did the same thing or when she was daring the South Carolina player to shoot it a few days ago1 point -

Yup - he didn't have his best stuff, but defense and offense let him down. Bullpen held up its end of the bargain too. Another costly loss. Things would look a whole lot different if we didn't blow the 6-run last-inning lead at USD, 2-run last-inning lead at CU, beat Omaha, and then beat Nicholls or ACU, as we easily could have. 19-5 would be pretty solid and have us in the at-large mix, even with a weak schedule. Ultimately, though, our non-con struggles have almost eliminated us from NCAA at-large consideration at this point. Probably have to win the B1G regular season to have any shot at an at-large at this point, plus a deep run in the B1G tourney. Huge weekend coming up at Michigan. Gotta get 2 of 3 at a minimum to stay in the hunt, I'd imagine. Drop this series, and Michigan gets to 7-2, while we'd be at 3-3. Long road back from that kind of deficit with us having trips to Maryland & Iowa still on the horizon and Michigan not playing Maryland, Iowa, or Indiana. Starting to look like Michigan got a gift of a B1G schedule, and they appear to be good enough to take advantage of it. And if we somehow get swept, it's over. UM would be 8-1 and we'd be 2-4 with a lot of teams to climb over. I hate to call a series this early in the season a must win, but if the goal is to win the regular season title, this series simply is a must win. On the other hand, B1G standings are a little crazy right now, though, so maybe it won't take 19 or 20 wins to win the league like I thought it might earlier. I mean Minnesota won a series at Ohio St - that's insanity with the way those two teams were trending 2 weeks ago. 1. Indiana 5-1 Michigan 5-1 3. Michigan State 4-2 4. Nebraska 2-1 Maryland 2-1 Minnesota 2-1 7. Purdue 3-3 8. Illinois 2-4 9. Iowa 1-2 Rutgers 1-2 Northwestern 1-2 12. Penn State 1-5 Ohio State 1-51 point

Take the time to read "The Miracle of St. Anthony: A Season with Bob Hurley, etc" I am not going to say that it will change your mind, but it may. Personally, Bob Hurley is too much like Bob Knight; but part of that is the location of his school, and the "full time job" he worked along with his basketball coaching gig. He turned down a lot of lucrative opportunities to help the youth in that community,.1 point -

One more thing....listen in LSU I noticed that when Clark drives to the basket.....right side (75% of the time maybe), she does it a lot when bringing the ball down the floor. (or from a 1/2 court corner) The rest of the Iowa offense clears out the lane and moves away from the basket...taking the defenders with them....then Clark hits the gas straight to the basket,,,,the defender is a step behind and it's all over. Got lots of points off that. She'll also sweep around the top of the key. Going to the right side, from the left... hits a lay up. She hits it lots of ways. She does travel a lot when pivoting..got called maybe once last night, and she travels a lot going off the dribble. Picks up both feet when moving off the stand still. She's the star now....so a no call One more ....man, they are all whinners. I didn't travel.... I didn't foul...they fouled me ! They're worse than I am.1 point

It appears the ranking is inclusive of the total revenues of men's and women's basketball revenue combined. I would also think that ticket sales, merchandise sales, media revenue, etc. are included. As much support as Creighton gets in their concourses, their media revenues don't even come close to what a P5 school gets.1 point -

Dickinson would be a good fit here. Also, Gradey Dick now leaving for an NBA shot, illustrating why no one can predict what these kids are thinking with all the family and extraneous influences on their decisions and immediate financial opportunities which are available now. Improving their basketball skills seems to almost be an afterthought.1 point

We will have Jaz, Weidner, Hake, Krull, and newbie Nisley at guard. I still like both Kendall's manning the '3' position. Krull could even switch between guard and small forward. Jaz returning, makes this group look promising.1 point

I think that was the case coming out of HS for sure but not sure it is or isn’t anymore. His mom left the state to go play ball in CA I think (can’t remember for sure). Think she really wanted him to do the same at a big time program and she moved out there with him when he went to Gonzaga.1 point -

I don't hope he gets what he wants, because him getting what he wants means a successful Creighton team and I really don't want that. I hope he fails. I hope he fails spectacularly. I hope we feel too sorry for him to boo when Creighton is in town.1 point -
Not sure what main reason for his decision but if it's for the gf I sure hope he's happy with that. She is a reserve setter on the vball team so if he was all in for Crayton without her input then good for him. But if he was leaning NU and she "swayed" him then he has lost his future negotiating with her. According to her vball profile think her dad grew up in Sutton and one of her best friends graduated from Fillmore Central. And like Silverbacked said earlier don't think he ever had intentions of coming to NU.1 point

Jazz is the difference maker for next season, plain and simple. Otherwise were in for a tough next season. Just not optimistic after losing Sam and Issie. Hate to say it.....And it will probably be another .500-.600 year anyway (with the current roster and the 3 current new commits. But just adding Weidner and Markowski made a huge difference when they came in as freshmen. So freshman can matter. Must have Weidner back. Hope for her sake she will be Okay. Regrettably but we should look to replace the ones that continue to not be able to play. Open up the roster with more recruits and/or portal players. Fill out to 15 or so players that can actually play on the court. And add to practice environment for that matter. I'm for taking another approach to how the roster is managed...not that it means anything to anyone. Just disappointed how last season progressed. Done whining JAZZ IS STAYING !!1 point

I have sneaky suspicion that Trev does not appreciate our lack of success versus Creighton's success in basketball. I think Fred will have the necessary resources to get the job done...the question remains as to whether or not Fred is the right coach to lead us. He made good progress this past year; but this coming year will be the true litmus test.1 point -
I am a Husker fan first and I always will be. I always root for Nebraska in every sport and the basketball team is my favorite team of all. I love Nebraska basketball. I have been a diehard fan for over 40 years. Having said that. I still root for Creighton in every game they play except when they play Nebraska. I will admit that I did hate Grant Gibbs because he was just a douche. As far as Creighton fans, I am sure there many who suck real bad. I have met lots of people who suck and I am sure some were Creaighton fans, and some were Husker fans as well. The Creighton fans I know personally are just as gracious as I try to be, and most of them root for Nebraska Basketball except when they play Creighton. I think overall Creighton has had a positive effect on the state of college hoops in Nebraska at all levels. I would love for the Huskers to reach the level of play and have the impact that Creighton has had for a long time. Go Big Red and go Bluejays (except when they play Nebraska).1 point
