Did anyone else enjoy Traudt airball?

I get that he was homesick it sounds like but leaving Virginia sure looks like a mistake…feels like he’s went the wrong way development wise.

green always felt like a bit of a project(1 I very much wish we woulda landed) but he seems quite a ways from a finished product yet too.

This team embraces the 1 on 1 mid range and attack the basket game when essegian isn’t on the floor and keeps up the rebounding and free throw shooting we might have something.

not the biggest player or the most talented player but we are still going to be talking about the effort Gary plays with on this board in 10 years.

didn’t have Berke holding his own vs a potential all American for 15+ minutes at the 5 position on my bingo card…he continues to really impress as an all around player.

Great point about Gary - plays with great effort on defense and on the boards.   Not a glamour guy in terms of offensive numbers but an all-time great glue guy as a team leader.   Love what he has done for us.

Also agree on Berke.  I think he in particular got Kalkbrenner frustrated - showed when he did that total obvious flop the second Berke touched him that one possession.   Sure he suckered the ref into calling the foul - but it also gave away that our bigs were living in his head.

I probably won't sleep tonight. We wanted a fight and they didn't want any part of it. Kudos to Fred on this roster makeup, it was tailor-made to stop crytin. They play that kinda bully ball in conference and we'll do ok. Crytin fans I'm sure we'll make a bunch of excuses but this was a game Nebraska won more than crytin lost

The no sleeping tonight comment holds true for me also. But guessing beverage choice will take precedence. Did Nick Bahe seem a little quiet during broadcast?  Maybe just me but his lack of excitement for NU "beating the brakes off" cu was rather enjoyable.

Braxton Meah really impressed me tonight. This was probably the type of opponent (Kalkbrenner) he can excel against, and his defense and activity was very impressive. Just really loved what I saw from our guys tonight. It's not too often in this series we have been able to say our guys wanted it more, but tonight we did.

Him mumbling about how he hadn’t seen Creighton look like that in years was a real highlight for me

I know he gets some heat and despite being a former 1/4 zipper he does really respect Fred and his trajectory with this program. Was gushing about the win on twitter…..errrrr X last night.

Yeah, this. Bahe is fairly unbiased these days in my opinion when in positions when he should be (like last night).

We had over 25 FT attempts and 20 FT makes for the 5th consecutive games.  Going back to 2010 we've never done that. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the first time.

This is the 4th consecutive win for the road team in this series. That's the first time that's ever happened.

This is an under-rated stat - the bluebirds never foul anyone, so to draw 25 FTs was really important.

And for a team like us that's not great from the 3-pt line, we can make up those points by getting to the FT line.

It has to make Fred a little crazy that we're better at the mid-range 2 than the 3 right now - going against the analytics quite a bit. But getting to the FT line regularly can help to ease the analytic pain.

Still feels great this morning! Can’t believe we never trailed, everyone did well playing their roles, within themselves and the system. We have the ability to versatile on offense, but there will be nights when what we need to do just isn’t working. Luckily, our defense might be able to bail us out those nights.

Let’s go win a lot of games!
