Here we are. That long offseason is finally coming to an end. Get your Halloween scaries out of your system and move over to November. New coach. New season. New expectations.

 

This may be your first time playing Husker Hoops Central Challenge. You may have played this for years. That's great. Because we want anybody and everybody to participate. Did you miss a few games? That's great too. Because you can still make a deep run into the standings. Don't care about competing against people? Fantastic. Because you can still beat Robot HAL 9000 Ken Pomeroy. Just post your prediction (and bonus prediction, when applicable) in the HHCC threads. And if you happen to miss any games or are joining us 10 weeks into the season, don't worry. You're still in the running!

 

THREE THINGS THIS HHCC ROUND:

 

1) Your score prediction for Nebraska vs. UC Riverside (as usual).

 

2) BONUS (-5 points): Predicting the exact number of non-conference season wins (Nov. 5-Dec. 7, Dec. 21-29) -- (e.g. I am looking for an answer like "11," which indicates the number of wins you predict Nebraska will win in the non-conference.)

 

3) *Predicting the exact number of total regular season (non-conference + conference) wins (Nov. 5-Mar. 8 ) -- (e.g. I am looking for an answer like "31," which indicates the number of wins you predict Nebraska will win in the entire regular season.)

 

* This will not count as a bonus (and it will not count against you), but in the past years it has been a missing data point of interest that would've been useful in seeing how closely we have come to predicting the outcome of the season
