You can win any basketball game you’re in if you follow the gameplan that most works against what the other team wants to do. 
 

Congrats to Fred for doing what needed to be done to win, not what you want to do. I don’t mean that to sound like such a back handed compliment, but honestly it’s the first time in 4 years he’s figured it out.

Irrespective of the opponent, I'm just really proud of how this team executed.

 

And respective of opponent, I sure hope Sam enjoyed sticking it to the team up north!

Really happy for Fred!  He is a good technician - I think he’s got a good group of leaders on this team.  Something that he hasn’t always had with the roster turnover year to year. Walker and Griesel were huge today!!

Gary had a great day rebounding too.

Hopefully, we gave the remainder of the blue birds' opponents the formula for destroying their offensive rhythm. If they finished the year on a 20+ game losing streak, I could get on board with it.

Obviously Griesel and Walker were great. 
 

But Gary was a monster on those 9 boards.  He kept an elite athlete off the glass because he was a better athlete.  
 

Probably time to start giving our defensive guru on staff some serious recognition here.  That was about as high IQ as I have ever seen from a Nebraska defense. 
 

Creighton will always be skilled and finesse basketball.  That’s why you beat them by punching them in the fing mouth.  
 

The weirdest part is that game didn’t look like a fluke to me.  We were bigger, stronger, and smarter.  Kind of like a B1G team is supposed to look.

Walker ate Kalks lunch today.  Kalk looked slow, disengaged, and like he wanted no piece of DW.

He did beat Beidenbach 6 - 0 in the wrestling match he had with Beidenbach.  I counted 3 takedowns.  He had 0 fouls called on him.

Not in that building. Neither is keeping the coaches inside their boxes. Or off the floor for that matter. (At least the ref had the awareness to go around Greggie on the way back down the floor. Plowing into him might've been a little awkward to decide what to call. Actually, probably would've called a jump ball after meeting with the other refs.)

 

Although I had to laugh when the blue birds were trying to foul on purpose for a possession or two late, and the refs wouldn't call those either.
