Well that’s was awesome. I picked NU to win but not by that much. It was actually pretty dominant at times. Juwan Gary is our Alpha. Meah was worth the get even if it was just to counter Kalk. He will do just fine in the big ten. That was the best game we have seen from Connor. Really gave us another threat beside Brice. Loved how we attacked Kalk - even Uhlis drove in on him. GBR! I will not be a quiet person Monday at the office

At least Creighton fans have an opportunity tomorrow to become bowl eligible. That should ease the pain a bit.

That's likely a Quad 1A win fellas. Those are damn hard to come by. GBR...what a win. Dominated them from beginning to end. Defense was about as good as I have ever seen for a full 40 minutes.

That was a masterclass by the coaches on how to play Kalk on both ends of the floor. I assumed going in that Kalk would have 8 blocks and Creighton would make a ton of open threes off of double teams like most teams seem to do to us. The defense was insane. He never even got the ball to kick out to the shooters to pass around the perimeter. And even though Creighton shot a ton of threes the shooters rarely had time to get comfortable. Offensively the way we attacked was brilliant. We aren’t a great shooting team so we either attacked where Kalk wasn’t or our drivers went right into his chest like you are supposed to do against a shot blocker. I am just amazed we did it a full 40. I thought against Saint Mary’s our team started to figure out how the pieces fit together. But I never expected a dominant performance like this!

We have 5 players now averaging double figures ppg. Would be nice to keep that up

This team embraces the 1 on 1 mid range and attack the basket game when essegian isn’t on the floor and keeps up the rebounding and free throw shooting we might have something. not the biggest player or the most talented player but we are still going to be talking about the effort Gary plays with on this board in 10 years. didn’t have Berke holding his own vs a potential all American for 15+ minutes at the 5 position on my bingo card…he continues to really impress as an all around player.

Per ESPN... Creighton's (10) 2 point FG attempts were the fewest in any game in the country this year. Why only 10... because they were scared out of their minds and we bullied the hell out of them!

Last night didn’t even feel like an upset. For anyone wondering why I have been so critical of this team, it’s because they have yet to show that juice and toughness. I liked this team a lot, the way it was built, but had yet to see them play as a team. That all got answered last night. No one even really played that “well” outside of Juwan and maybe Connor Essegian. We were just tougher, smarter, meaner, and played harder.

Berke is quickly becoming one of my favorites on this team. He does things that no one on the squad can do, especially at his height and girth. He's got a lot of game that translates to the Big Ten level. Excited to see how much he improves. GBR

We are just a better team than them, it’s as simple as that. We didn’t play all that well and still whooped them from start to finish. Good to see the real Juwan back. Shoutout to Meah. He is who he is, and we can’t expect something other than that, but he will help us win some games. Connor is going to be one of our most important players. He likely won’t be as good as Keisei, but he has to play that role. Never stop running on offense and shoot a lot of threes We are going to win a lot of games this year. Team Berke GBR

The no sleeping tonight comment holds true for me also. But guessing beverage choice will take precedence. Did Nick Bahe seem a little quiet during broadcast? Maybe just me but his lack of excitement for NU "beating the brakes off" cu was rather enjoyable.

I was really surprised Mac got out of the 1-3-1 after one successful defensive possession. We had few shooters on the floor and not much height. At the worst he could have made us burn a timeout. At best could have changed the momentum and got some run out layups. That was a fun one!

I was not planning to contribute much to HHC this season. I can already hear it: "you've never contributed." Point well taken. I can't sit out the game against the evil from the east. We're gonna win this bitch. The last year I didn't despise this evil was when Tom Apke was the coach in the mid 70's and I knew nothing about them. By the end of his tenure, I hated them. GBR!
