He’s earned a shot to start. 
The starting lineup has struggled with turnovers. Way too many wasted possessions early in games. Ulis has 9 turnovers in 200+ minutes. 
He plays with energy, something the first group has lacked to start games. 
He and Sam are really the only two who are consistently closing out to three point shooters right now.

Circle the wagons, this is our last stand. Optimist in me says we are truly only one game off pace from last year with a win tonight.

Would be a good game for Berke to get back on track as USC has nobody that can match up with him

If Morgan doesn't play, it's likely that Berke comes off the bench as our backup center and thus Essegian enters the starting lineup. I suppose if Fred wanted to get nasty to start the game playing both Ulis and Worster or even Sam.

I think it could be meah hitting the bench for Berke at the 5, and those two trade off during the game at the 5. Luckily for us, USC is not a physically imposing team in the middle, so this is a game Morgan could afford to miss. 

 

If the rumors about ahron starting are true, it could be him getting inserted for one of the bigs. Him and rollie seemed to play very well off of each other vs Maryland, despite never playing together in any lineups

USC has started their 6'10" guy at center every single game and his minutes have ranged from 4 to 29. Unless he's also one of the guys that is banged up, Meah is going to start.

Cohen is pretty soft, and plays like he's 6'5, and honestly has been their worst player in big ten play. Only getting 10 mpg on b10 play and scored 10 points and grabbed 10 boards across 7 games so far. I can see the argument and don't disagree, but I don't think meah starting is set in stone. Just my opinion. 

 

Now, other train of Logic that I wouldn't disagree with would be playing meah vs Cohen early and letting Berke work on offense against whoever they have playing the 5 off the bench, which looks to be agee, and that should be a mismatch.

I took it as a comparison between this year and last year. I was listing the players who missed games last year and were probably questionable at some point.
