Just got back from that game. Wasn't going to go this year but had somebody offer me a ticket a couple days ago so went with very low expectations. This team is easy to like - they play hard D and unlike the teams we have had the last few years they actually go after rebounds and block out.

It seemed like Creighton did not scout us at all (maybe they didn't because they are just coming off a really hard stretch in their schedule too). We have struggled with teams that pressure the ball - particularly full court. Creighton did not do that at all until it was too late. If teams put a small guard on Griesel and let him and Walker play a two man game we are going to give anyone trouble.

Creighton lives and dies by the 3 pt shot - and today they DIED by it!!!!

Go Big Reg !!

I remember being at what I am pretty sure was Glynn's senior year game at Creighton.   You could tell how bad he wanted to win that game and we were in it that year until he fouled out on a completely phantom horrible call.    Glad he was paying attention to this one.

Tough weekend for that school to the east. First, their #4 seed volleyball team gets upset in a season-ending loss in the NCAA volleyball 2nd round.

And now this.

You gotta feel for them, man. That's rough.

🤣

I think the ranked in the teens women's team lost today also.  The early Christmas presents really rolled in the last couple of days!

You can win any basketball game you’re in if you follow the gameplan that most works against what the other team wants to do.

Congrats to Fred for doing what needed to be done to win, not what you want to do. I don’t mean that to sound like such a back handed compliment, but honestly it’s the first time in 4 years he’s figured it out.

Man it felt good to dictate the way the game was going to be played to those sweatervested dorks, for once!

Walker ate Kalks lunch today.  Kalk looked slow, disengaged, and like he wanted no piece of DW.

Walker is severely underrated….even by our fan base.  Walker is strong as an ox and extremely crafty.  A savvy veteran that plays within himself.  He would play meaningful for anyone in the country.

He is one of my all time favorite players.  I am thrilled he has a win of this magnitude under his belt.  He deserves it.

He did beat Beidenbach 6 - 0 in the wrestling match he had with Beidenbach.  I counted 3 takedowns.  He had 0 fouls called on him.

And good ol' 'Plantation' McDoofus nearly had a hernia crying for a foul for his baby after every one of them.

This was a fantastic effort.  Defense and rebounding especially, are often more about effort than size and skill (but it sure is nice to have good size all across the lineup).  If NU can harness this, they can do some damage in the B1G.  GBR!!!

We played as good of a defense as we possibly could in the first half.  Creighton missed shots because we kept them out of their game.  Great scouting and following of the game plan.  So tough to control tempo against a team like Creighton and we did it for most of the game.

Neither Wilcher or KT hit a three and we still won, by ten.

Three wins in row against ranked teams on the road.  That is mind blowing.

Please keep Walker out of foul trouble, although that first one was pretty weak.

This Win & a Top Heavy B1G has to put a BIG smile on one Trev Alberts face tonight…

Not sure how you come up with the B1G being a top heavy league when 11 of the 14 teams are in the top 50 Kenpom and Rutgers just beat Indiana by 15 and Northwestern (#74) just beat MSU at MSU. Every team in the league except Minnesota can win on any given night against any team. This is a very deep and tough league. Going to be a battle to crack the shell this year but no doubt this team will fight every night
