I get on UCONN message board often and there hasn't been any talk about him for over a couple weeks. So I don't know. Hopefully he is done after this visit today!!!

Syracuse was also mentioned awhile back as an option. Could be off here but I believe most of his visits were/are out of courtesy/wanting to tell coaches certain things in person and/or to see the countryside. I've been told that this is a 2 horse race and that we are one of the horses.

And the other is?

I've been told Virginia. So we'll see how straight up my info is shortly. Hopefully. Was also told that he went on the Kansas visit to specifically tell the coaches in person that he would not be going there. We'll see.

Well, if you want to go by age of arena, we're in good shape.

1).  Pinnacle Bank Arena - opened 2013

2).  John Paul Jones Arena - opened 2006

3).  Gampel Pavilion - opened 1990

4).  Breslin Center - opened 1989

5).  Carrier Dome - opened 1980

6).  Hynes Athletic Center - opened 1974

7).  Allen Fieldhouse - opened 1955

As I recall from the PBA thread (probably on the old board) UVA's arena was one of the ones we were looking at when contemplating what our new arena would look like.  And, I remember thinking their arena was pretty cool.  So, going by arena alone, not sure we have much of an advantage.

However, when you add in the scourge of kudzu ...

it's been a month since he visited us, and he has visited 5 schools since he was here. that's a bit worrisome.

This

I would be floored if he ended up here.

Well according to a poster on the UVA board his dad is doing some contracting business at Tony Bennett's house and Tony says Chukwu to UVA "is a done deal."  Let's hope his dad is full of poop.

He has to end up here.  Norm has already put him in his "Experience Returning" thread on the main board.

The Norm has spoken.  Let it be done according to his word.

Ouch.  That report hurts.

While second-hand hearsay (heard it from someone who heard it from someone else) isn't admissible in court, it's pretty solid stuff for basketball message boards.  However, here's hoping that such from-Coach-to-father-to-son information has the same reliability as this little gem published a couple months ago during the Anton Gill recruitment days:

Sources indicate that "Louisville transfer guard Anton Gill is close to committing to Georgetown, with a formal commitment possible as soon as tonight. Gill visited Georgetown over the weekend and word is that he impressed the coaching staff both on and off the court."

...and this just heard...Pete Rose has an older brother, and he still states that Pete never bet on baseball as a player.  Even those that are well informed are still sometimes uninformed.
