Made the trek from Omaha. Maybe not my smartest decision, got on the interstate and saw a dozen or so vehicles in the ditch. Took almost 30 minutes to get to the Gretna exit from Sapp Bros. Roads got progressively better after the Platte River. Was extra motivated because I scored floor seats. What a great game! Physical, hard fought. Brice and Juwan are so important out there. Big guys did their job for the most part. Interesting that Cale played over Gavin. I suspected that may have been coming. Pretty dicey/icey coming back to Omaha, but worth it. * seen * Dylan R, Emmet Johnson, Malcolm Hartzog, and Ceyair Wright sitting courtside - I was really close to them. Dylan was more than gracious as every timeout more and more kids/fans asked for selfies and autographs ** also seen ** Dylan and Connor sharing a moment after the game, talking for a few minutes. Also saw Connor and Emmet chatting for a bit. Hope they have fun in Hawaii!

Man oh man, that was fun! Hoosier daddy!!!! We won going away despite way too many turnovers and below average free throw shooting. Indiana wanted physical, and we gave them what they wanted. Bryce was an animal today. Dude, bring that game every night. Really like Connor and Andrew as well. That is two Big Ten games in a row that he brought his lunch pail to work. Gotta love it!

IIRC correctly, it was tied at 64. Game ends 85-68. All gas, no brakes to the finish.

Ok, you guys can bitch about the game thread being started 8 days before the game. But Murray State plays two games before they play the Huskers. They are on ESPN+ right now playing Western Kentucky. Murray State isn't very big as a team. But they seem very athletic. The Everly brothers is video for this game. Hailing from Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. I love that Meah's only shot selection is a dunk. I remember when Jorge Brian Diaz absolutely refused to dunk. It was like he was afraid of hurting the rim. Random note after googling him...he went his whole career at Nebraska as Jorge "Brian" but his entire pro career and his wikipedia page say Jorge "Bryan". He really never corrected anyone on the spelling of his name for 3 years.

12 teams are 1-1 after the first round of Big Ten games. This is gonna be a wild ride.

Before I get too excited, can somebody let me know whether "the Big Ten is down" or not? That will help me set realistic expectations as to whether we need to win the conference tournament to get in the Dance or not.

At one point he was better than Archie Miller but honestly as much money as those guys pour into NIL he's absolutely wasting the talent their with his style of basketball. Hopefully he can win enough games to stay employed there.

Just another note; there were a few times where we broke down defensively, and again when rebounding. Other times we got a bit lazy after an offensive set and they simply beat us down the court. I guess what I am saying is that we ran away from them the last five minutes, despite playing much less than perfect.

And when I say fired… the “Fire Coach Woodson” thread on BTown banners had over 1,300 pages.

Brice was all-B1G level tonight, and we needed it

Indiana shot it much better than their norm for most of the first half so we couldn't pull away and the Rice kid was on fire which prevented us from pulling away and finally we did pull away at the end. Nice win and obviously Brice was outstanding but the turnovers were frustrating. I find it odd that coach went out and got Meah and Berke to help control the glass but opted to go small down the stretch thinking we could out score them, which we did. Our depth helped us tonight.

When do you give up on the Mike Woodsen experiment. As a Husker fan, he needs a lifetime contract.

Perusing an IU board and two things are certain. 1. many want Woodson fired yesterday. 2. Tominaga continues to haunt their dreams and was brought up in multiple threads over and over.
