I kinda like the Crown. All these teams are playing hard. We’re going to play a very good team on Saturday. And there’s a few good teams left on the other side of the bracket.

Very nice win.   Great to see Brice and Juwan both have big games - again.   Really happy their Husker careers are going out on a good note.   I have to believe Brice has an NBA career in front of him.   Hope so anyway as he deserves it.

 

Was huge that we kept responding with buckets when Georgetown got really hot in the second half.   They narrowed the lead - but we were able to pretty much keep the lead in double digits - and when it did get under that we always got a hoop.  Huge putback by Morgan off the Juwan airball when they had it to 8.   After struggling last game Morgan gave us some really solid minutes tonight.

 

For my money Cale was actually significantly better tonight than he was Monday.   He contributed positively on both ends and did not make the mistakes that have hampered his minutes in the past.

A win is a win. Super happy for Cale, getting his first start. He looks like he belongs out there. His stat line was very good! And Brice is Brice.

It's really fun to watch us win again. Much better than the 5 game skid to end the year.

A lot of stuff we can probably be critical of, and sure Georgetown and the rest of the Big East sucks; but hey we won.  And we won with two walk ons starting and playing big minutes.

Brice was awesome as was Juwan; but do we expect anything less from those two.  And our complementary players did okay.

We are going to have to be much better to win the next two games though.  Hey, 19 wins baby!

I hope our offensive production continues because Boise can score.  We had an opportunity to blow this game open but let it slip to 8 and Morgan’s follow was the big play.

GU's Malik Mack went 6 for 6 to close this game, and, yet, it didn't even matter as NU scored seemingly at will. That was fun to watch our dudes ball out. It had been a while since I've noticed that confidence in our dudes. GBR

Cale Jacobsen's heady, no-nonsense play was a big key for this squad. He made a lot of plays out there. He scored 7 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. What a game in his 36 min. tonight. He's become the Johnny Trueblood of this team! GBR

Wasn't too happy with some of our offensive possessions.  Felt like the game got tighter than it needed to be.  Guys mostly played great though.  We responded.

 

Getting pretty big now.  We have a shot to win this thing.  Moving to the bigger arena.

Nebraska basketball misses the Big Ten Tournament and NCAA Tournament. Then proceeds to have best post season showing in decades. Sounds about right
