One foul in the first 15 minutes of the second half when they were holding, swatting, and bodying up on defense and going over the back and slapping on the offensive boards.  The F job started long before the end of the game.

I think it was the first half ref show that did us in. We should've had a significantly bigger lead on them going into the half. turned out to be the difference in the game. I even posted it at the time.

Like Husker Papa said after the T.. we never got a call the rest of the night.  I really don’t like how some of the old guard of this league get away with such a high level of theatrics against officials without repercussions.  Never a second T, never told to get off the court or stay in their box.  Sigh

I take solace in the fact that Trev is ripping someone asshole at the league office right now. What an absolute screw job by this conf. Illinois and Purdue (NW game) are worse teams in march because the top teams get absolutely babied night in and out.

I would be willing to bet a weeks pay that IF we had taken the last shot of regulation the whistle would have been swallowed. Double the FT attempts for them in a physical game.  Just sad.

After Underwood got that early T, I knew the refs would swallow their whistles in their favor. It sucks, that's why it's so hard to win on the road. But, honestly, if NU could just make short shots around the rim, NU wins that one going away. At least the Huskers had the fortitude to make a late comeback on the road, down 10, to push this to OT, maybe next time the Big Red will come out victorious at NW. LFG
