With all candor, Minnesota is not very good.

That said, defense and effort was much better.  If we make 70% of our free throws and 60% of our lay ups this game is a laugher.  But trust me, I kept thinking that we were going to blow this...almost to the end.

also did anybody else notice that with like 5 seconds left McPherson was giving all the coaches a nice hand shake.

 

I like him I hope he can play as well as he is a team mate on game days.

Boy those refs must of had a reservation at Lazlo’s at around 10:10 the way they called that one. I’m not complaining though. I’d much rather have it that way than the other way!

I had changed the score from that type of margin (with a loss), to have NU winning by a tighter margin. A double win! There haven't been many of either type for me.

Went to the game. Lat should not be starting until he proves otherwise. Everyone else did very well.

 

missed about 10 easy shots though that would have put this game a way a lot earlier.

Agreed. Nebraska can get Maryland and Iowa, depending on how NU's D holds up.

They've choked in Lincoln before, we'll have to wait & see.

 

I have more hope that maybe Nebraska can actually beat NW, given a 2nd chance. Guess we can only hope for better days, tonight was a fun win.
