Webster went 2-3 from 3 point range and played 23 minutes.

The Tall Blacks defeated S. Korea 89-81 and have one more exhibition against them

It would be surprising if he doesn't make the squad.

They just released the team and he made the final cut.

The below articles indicate there is one more cut down to a 12 man squad after the team competes in the Three Nations Tournament in Seoul, South Korea, beginning on July 29 then they travel to China, Lithuania and Serbia in August.

The final 12-member roster will be announced following the games in Serbia.

I think he makes it but he benefits with the competition until then either way. In fact, if he was dropped, he would be back here sooner working with our team.

All we can hope is that he follows in his fellow man down under Patty Mills' shoes.  As a college player playing against the USA he went off and sparked a great finish to his college career.  The only difference is that it sparks a great start to his college career.

My biggest concern would be that he stays healthy!

Concered that he love it to much down there that he decide to stay and play pro.

His end goal is the NBA.  His fallback plan would be playing in New Zealand.  I doubt he'd want to give up on his dreams now.

and i think his dad would kill him... his dad wanted him to get a college education, and play in america...not time to stay there yet, plus i think if tai was gonna leave he would of been gone before second semester last year, kids hear to stay

I imagine when Tai walked through the front door and said Kia ora tatou, his family likely were amazed at his physical development over the past ten or eleven months.  In fact, when they last saw him on TV versus seeing him two weeks ago was likely an amazing transformation.  So, I do not think there is an ice cubes chance in hell that Tai will not return to good ol UNL...

Not to mention, would you want a certain unhappy Mr. Petteway possibly showing up at your house?
