Really happy to win this game. It’s good to see the players having fun again. They deserve it. No matter how we feel about the team talent-wise, every single one of them fits the culture that we want at Nebraska.

Boise St’s coach seems like a good dude. And has done a hell of a job with that program over the last dozen years.

Probably good that we had a lot of minutes from our bench since the championship game is tomorrow.  Uhlis played well.

We’ve got an extra days rest vs the other bracket. It’ll be our 4th game in 7 days vs their 4th in 6

The question that will be eating up generations of Husker fans regarding the 2024-2025 Nebraska Cornhuskers:

"What if Cale Jacobsen had been playing 20-36mpg all season?"

So I know you were joking at first. And I love absurdity. And I knew you were going to post this! And I can tell you I am now firmly on the "What if?" Train 😂

Fun win against a quality team.   Juwan definitely the MVP of this one - had a great game.   Lots of solid contributions from a bunch of guys as well.   Good to get to 20 wins and happy to see the guys having fun.   Wish I was there watching.   (Thought about it but timing just wasn't a fit with other things going on.)   Go Big Red - lets get one more tomorrow for $300K.   Over under on how many times Gus Johnson says $300 grand during the telecast tomorrow?   Vegas should have a line on that.

Sign me up for Jacobsen being in the rotation next year.  For whatever some of you think he lacks in athletic ability he seems to more than make up for with basketball IQ by moving the ball and being in the right spot in the defensive rotation.

I know everyone wants an elite point guard, but I sure hope they don't go add another Rollie Worster type who can't shoot or defend. Cale Jacobsen's impact this week has been more impressive than anything Worster did all year. The combination of him/Sam/Ulis bringing the ball up looked no worse (and often times better) than Rollie. Cale actually pushes the pace way more than Sam/Rollie do. A lot of our open 3s that we've been hitting this week are simply a result of Cale pushing the pace and beating the defense to their spots.

His basketball IQ just appears to be a lot higher, two dribbles into the paint and he moves it or he just catches and moves it without holding it/over dribbling….not to mention he appears to be a better shooter in a small

sample size.  I’m not saying he’s a starter but 8th/9th guy off the bench playing 8-12 mins a game sign me up

Agree with all of this, but I do want to say that Rollie was an absolutely phenomenal, phenomenal team and individual defender.

I agree. Great teammate and on the ball he could defend, but his rotations…weren’t always the best, and his shot is what it is.

I’m just not interested in having a point guard again where the opponents sag off and dare him to shoot. That is ridiculous at this level and makes it harder on everyone else.
