I have to eat some of my comments made during our 6 game death spiral.  Kudos to Fred and the team for staying resolved and moving ahead.  We were the clutch team down the stretch and Rollie’s 3 was massive.  Hoping Berke is ready by Thursday.  Didn’t realize he had 15 pts. Meah gave us some good minutes in the first half.  Beat Maryland.

I normally get very frustrated with our reluctance to play guys with two fouls in the first half, and also to call timeouts during the run of the game.

Both of those things ended up working out heavily in our favor at the end of the game. Gotta give credit where it is due

Including 3 made FTs. Mind. Blown.

We were 3-6 and he had all makes. Team went 15-15 rest of game. So to hell with all the marginal/bandwagon fans that complain about ft % and scoring droughts.

I would have been very concerned if I saw some of Ohio State's stats before the game.  40% from three with Parish & Mobley combining to make 10, along with 51 points.

Berke getting injured in the final minute when the game was pretty much won is a gut punch.  What do you do inside against Maryland without him?

Rollie's three with 3 minutes to go after Ohio State had cut the 8-point lead to 2.  Wow!  He has been good at the end of games lately.

Brice is so good at the end of games when Nebraska has the lead.

Can't get any better from the foul line at the end of a game.  100%  Most were 1 and 1s until the bonus.

This one is a pretty big get.  Only one game back from .500 now instead of three.  Hoping the crowd is ready to go on Thursday.

A few thoughts prior to the Super Bowl:

- Berke may have had his best game as a Husker.  He is becoming more comfortable and allows us to spread the floor.

- Brice is becoming one of our best players ever.  He is a good defender and rebounder and looks confident at all three levels.  He is $money$ at the free throw line.  And oh yeah, he is a leader!

- Juwan has also elevated his game, plus, he looks like he is having fun.

- Shout out to Braxton.  He coulda moped and mailed it in after he was benched.  Instead he is playing well...although I was screaming at him when he went to the floor and didn't immediately get up, in the first half.  He seemed to realize his error and got up and ran.

- Once again everyone who played, seemed to play well.

Make no mistake, Ohio State is a pretty  darn good team.  They defend, they play aggressively and they can shoot the damn ball.

We won, nuf said!
