That was better than NBA all-star weekend's Saturday night. Wow. Nice work, Keisei. He brought the house down! jason2486, Faux Mike Peltz and cornfed24-7 2 1 Quote
Faux Mike Peltz Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 Scott Van Pelt leads off Sportscenter with his “best thing I’ve seen” segment and it’s KT. Turnaround three at the buzzer. Then it’s on top ten. Sports shows are talking. Pat Mcafee going crazy. Barstool, and last night he was #2 trending topic on X (Twitter) Husker hoops getting this much publicity in the offseason is rare, and never a bad thing. Im just glad my last memory of him in a uniform isn’t him crying and being emotional, but him holding up two big medals!! huskerkid21, jason2486, CanadianHusker and 4 others 4 3 Quote
HuskerFever Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 It's just a shame we couldn't get one more year out of him and ride this publicity vibe one last time. Quote

It would have been an amazing ride, he's just now finding national acclaim. If NU had had a decent March Madness run, he'd have attained legendary status. Ironic that Keisei mopped the floor with that Oakland guy who had 10 threes against UK. Faux Mike Peltz 1 Quote

To be fair to the Oakland guy, he'd never been in a 3pt contest before whereas I've seen of video of what looks like Keisei at about the age of 9 running through this Quote

And, yeah, KT30 was built for the moment! Wow, he stole the show. Loved it. cornfed24-7 and Nebrasketball1979 2 Quote

Red Rum Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 1. Love Mast in a hawaiian shirt 2. My favorite moment was when Keisei waited to do the buzzer beater the second time and that money ball got him in the finals. Quote

Ball is still in the air and Bird puts up one finger and is walking away. I think that x user changed how it was stated. It now says "cockiest." I think last night it said something like best final shot. Quote
