Illinois lays another egg in the Tourney.  I didn’t watch the game.  What happened in the second half?

It’s like the reverse of our game against Illinois in the B1G Tourney.  We were ahead by 15 until Illinois went into its running back style of play (but without helmets and shoulder pads), and the refs let them do it.

UConn is pretty good is what happened.

What's great about watching this Clemson team is that Alabama keeps punching them in the mouth with electric three-point shooting at this stage of the game, yet Clemson doesn't really seem phased about it. Still working their progressions, trying to get that beat shot. Rather than just throwing up prayers to try to cut the lead.

That's an attitude and skill that can keep you in some games. We'll see if it's enough to overtake Alabama in this one though.

The more I watch this ncaa tournament the more I feel like we just got the worst possible draw. There’s countless teams in the 6-10 seed range I feel we’re better than.

I'm Nebraska Basketball...Of course I get the worst possible draw in the NCAA Tournament...I'm Nebraska Basketball 😐

Interesting hearing Van Gundy compare college ball to the NBA.  He indicated that college refs allow play to be much more physical.

Whether true or not, it sort of blows my mind.  I remember the NBA during the bad boy era.  Even before with Moses Malone and a host of others.  They had a ton of bad mo fo's on the court.  High School and college was much more finesse and skill oriented.

Now pro ball is the most hands off level of play...goodness gracious.

By the way, high school ball is WAY out of hand.  The administration and referee association has to fully address and alter foul versus non fouls.

So back to college, maybe holding Keisei is now a perfectly fair and normal way to play the game 🤷‍♂️

I think college is called harder than NBA. Feels like there’s a lot more minor contact in college that’s called. However NBA has 6 fouls which allows for more aggressive play.

Yep, totally true. Nebrasketball definitely got shafted in its draw. If only NU had held on against Illinois once or even twice. The Huskers would have been a celebrated squad in March Madness, if only....

There are 8 more minutes in a NBA game vs college

I will admit, I actually shed a small tear when Purdue won.  Well deserved and well earned.  Plus, we beat them which further confirms, we are not that far away.

Same. Plus I win the HHC bracket challenge if Purdue wins it all. 🙃

So the refs clearly blow a call, then magnify it by calling a technical on the coach for being outside the box!!!!  Good grief.  Do they really need Duke in the final four that badly???

I guess not! Looks like today‘s thugs are gonna take them down.

Well we all wanted a lefty to be one of the stars of March Madness. Unforutnately it's DJ Burns of NC St. instead of Keisei.

I seem to remember Coach Miles getting ejected on something pretty similar to that down in San Antonio - wasn't his 2nd technical for being out of the box when he was trying to get someone's attention that the shot clock wasn't running? Something like that.

Can you imagine being an NC State fan right now? The heater they've been on since starting the ACC tourney is something every sports fan dreams of experiencing.

They wouldn't even be here if UVa didn't completely botch the final minute of the ACC semis to let NC State bank in a 3 at the buzzer to force OT.

Adding in what they did in the ACC tourney just to make the NCAA field, NC State to the Final Four is one of the craziest postseason runs of all time. As if that wasn't enough for the fans, they got to beat UNC in the ACC final and knock Duke out in the Elite Eight.

Also kind of strange in the NCAAs where the guards always seem to rule the day to see two huge dudes in Edey and Burns completely dominating. Going to be a war in the paint next weekend when those two collide.
