I’m being way too loyal to a kid who’s never played a meaningful minute for us, but this feels a bit shitty. He was selfless enough to redshirt then had to medical redshirt last year. His demeanor on the bench was outstanding. Was engaged, supportive, and looked like a leader. Wish he would’ve gotten a shot here. Good luck Q!!!

What you mistakenly thought was outstanding bench demeanor was actually him getting in other guys' ears telling them it was Sam Griesel's fault they weren't getting theirs.

This has been in the cards for a loooong time. The guy was a cancer in the locker room and the cancer has now been excised.

Had he not been injured, he would NOT have seen the floor this year to any significant degree.

Are you serious?!?  If true that is a bad deal.  Perception and reality were two totally different things.  If so most definitely best to part ways.  Everyone needs to be on the same page.

Wow. He had me fooled then.

Wonder why this didn’t happen sooner then.

That's a pretty serious accusation.  I sincerely hope your source is airtight, because that's not the sort of thing that should be said about a college kid based on hearsay.

His source is good.   Never has a few fluff quotes during a redshirt year taken on such a life about a guy.

The relationship you and Fred have built is beautiful. Who knew you'd bond so quickly over blackbean burgers and heart healthy tofu salads.

We bonded over domestic microbrews in the waiting room at the cardiologist's office. Longboard is just good beer, what can I say?

I feel (apparently along with quite a few others  🥴)  just like this! (as posted by @Chuck Taylor in another thread!)
