Here are two guys who sacrificed a comfortable senior season in a backwater Division I league to take a chance on Hoiball. They've been rewarded with humiliation on the court, and in Matej Kavas' case, a season-ending injury. This could be the least emotional Senior Day in a long time, but it doesn't mean we don't appreciate what these men gave up to become Huskers.

I want to thank both of them for coming to dear ol Nebraska U, and setting the foundation for Coach Hoiberg’s time as head coach.  I enjoy watching Cheatham drive and finish acrobatic layups, and find it amusing how many times it appears he gets hammered in the air and no foul is called.

Maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but I thought JBD was listed as "from Puerto Rico" when he played here (hence that whole English literacy test snafu that delayed his eligibility).  But now that he's playing in Puerto Rico, he's listed as from New York?  Weird.

Both are accurate. Actually this was helpful because now I know for sure where the Hernandez in his name comes from

Seems like this would be similar to someone from Lincoln going to college here and majoring in grammar.
