I'd prefer he stay but I know it's not likely for us to not have someone move on 6'6, no dribble, no drive, no defense, but can shoot in spurts. So, yeah, on this team next year, there is probably a spot for him. NUtball and Bugeaters1 1 1 Quote

With Nana out, a team already short on depth used former Husker Brandon Ubel on the scout team as he rehabs from a knee injury. thrasher31 1 Quote

Art Vandalay Posted March 8, 2019 Report Posted March 8, 2019 I think this has been brewing all season. Some disconnect between TM and NaNa. Think he would be gone for sure if Miles came back (so would a lot of fans) Quote

*Deleted Account* Posted March 8, 2019 Report Posted March 8, 2019 Nana has unquestioned athletic ability but he looks lazy and doesn't work on his body. He should have better lateral quickness but he doesn't. He lacks burst also. These are things all great leapers acquire as they develop in the weight room. He should be an elite defender with length and quick leap abilities. Instead he is an awful defender. He can be an excellent player at the D1 level if he would dedicate himself to that. Quote

jayschool Posted March 8, 2019 Report Posted March 8, 2019 (edited) At this point, why not start this lineup: Watson, Sr. (well, he's Glynn Watson Jr., but he's a senior; get it?) Trueblood, Sr. Palmer, Sr. Roby, Jr. (Wearing a senior's jersey, though, by donning Cope's #14) Borchardt, Sr. That gets all four healthy seniors on the court, and you have Harris, Heiman and Thor off the bench for some ... firepower? Not the right word, but you get what I mean. And maybe JT can annoy the shit out of Bohannon early and often enough to elicit a T a or two from the senior McCaffery.
