Great day for husker basketball!  Men beat rated Creighton and the ladies beat rated Maryland.  Both teams broke losing streaks against their opponent and both games were on the road.

WOWSER!!!

My take away...is it too early to start talking about Quad 1 wins

The only downfall is we have to cheer for Creighton the rest of the year to make this win look good.  A piece of me is going to die doing that.

I was thinking the same thing! HA!

We did a lot of stuff right; but make no mistake, we didn't play our best game.  Far from it.  Individual players carried us offensively.  A couple of our shooters were rather dreadful. 

Our defense was tough, it was gritty and we played the style of game necessary to win.

I'm betting Creighton fans are melting down!

I wonder how much money could have been won if you parlayed NU football Vs Iowa and NU Vs Creighton? 

Is Nebraska going to make the Sweet 16 before Creighton? Lots of people are asking that question

We picked up a Quad 1 win. while the bluetards suffer a Quad 3 loss. Hope that comes back to bite them in the ARSE.

Tough weekend for that school to the east. First, their #4 seed volleyball team gets upset in a season-ending loss in the NCAA volleyball 2nd round.

Sort of funny...I am not convinced I was having fun until the one minute mark.  I guess maybe I was having a version of fun if that includes nerves, anxiety,  failure to draw a breath and so forth
