He was doing this on Free Throws at beginning of year as well!!  I totally agree with Strickland on this.

After sleeping on it for a night, the refs sucked, but the Badgers did a lot to cause that problem.  If we have learned anything, the refs seem to favor the team that is the aggressor if they are on a run and they favor the home team.  Some of the calls last night were absolutely atrocious (like the call on Wahl where he ever so lightly touched the back of the Nebraska player that turned into a 3 point play.  It was ridiculous given the hacking going on the other end.

However, if the Badgers want to stop that kind of nonsense in the future, then play better.  Execute.  Be aggressive.  Don't turn passive.  Take the game to the opposition instead of letting them dictate.  I stand by what I said previously, this is a good learning experience, even for a veteran group.  Come tournament time you win by taking it.  We let the crowd and Nebraska dictate to us last night and became timid with passing.  Our offense ground to a halt because of poor ball movement and guys playing to "not lose" instead of playing "to win."  Get after it Sunday and let's kick the crap out of Purdue.

Always fun to read game thread after wins but big wins like last night it's even better. Can't add anything as it's all pretty much been said. I didn't rush the court but did walk out and got to pat Muhlheisen on the back, get a handshake from a teary eyed Pavelka and give a high five to Hoiberg as he was making his way for postgame radio interview. 

Went to establishment following game and would've really liked to hear what Big 10 network studio was saying in their postgame analysis.

I hope Keisei sees Strick's videos but I'm sure someone who has probably taken a jillion three-point shots during his 22 years can probably figure this out himself. I still anticipate a 6 or 7 make game for him this year. Meanwhile keep taking it to the basket as much as possible.

Appearances by Isaiah and Cam Jurgens at Gate after the game.  Very festive atmosphere, and I'm playing hurt today. 

I know KT can figure it out and he’s an amazing shooter.  This was last year. 
 

ok...I gotta ask. for those who listened to the Radio broadcast... post-game.  Jake mentions something about "Barry Collier in the house".  Was Barry at the game? Was there a reason he was, if it was? it's towards the end of the video like at the last minute.

He has 2 different strokes. Has has his showman/entertainer stroke where he recoils his hands as quickly as possible and then at other times the normal fundamental follow through release

Butler plays at Creighton today so he tends to double-dip if he can.

Huge shoutout to the Scarlet shhotaround pod for starting a movement to bring back sandstorm.  It really helped keep the crowd rocking after we started the comeback.  

Collier pry thinks we are about a five seed in the NIT.

Let we forget, Brice gets a ton of flack on here. He's up there at +20, only Juwan had his +21. Incredible effort to make the comeback, first and foremost, then the fortitude and resolve to end this thing in OT. Basically dominated UW 51-25 in the comeback and pull-through. Awesome atmosphere, the fans were the other "difference maker" tonight. Loudest game ever at PBA, even louder than No-Sit Sunday, also beat a top-ten UW. GBR

Essegian burned NU's backside in Madison, scoring 15 points. Last night he only played 4 min. and made 1 three. That's what I always say, role players seem to always make the difference at home, and don't do it as well on the road. NU's role players need to step up on the road. Last season Sammy scored 15 at Maryland, but this year it has been crickets for role guys on the road other than Eli getting 15 in the comeback attempt at Iowa, where we basically ran outta gas. Gotta get after it! GBR

It's his swan song as AD at Butler, so Barry Collier made sure to hit it up while he could since BU is at CU 2/2. I've always thought the guy's a solid man. Wish it had worked out better at the time for him at NU. But, BC made the most of his career as AD by hiring a bunch of good coaches, including Brad Stevens. Think of how NU could have been with better coaching in that timeframe. Butler nearly won a title over Duke!

Kent knows how to put the drama of the game into words very well.

I like Aharon Ulis’ body language on the bench. Reminds me of Derrick Walker’s his redshirt year.

I love it when the teams that almost always are on the beneficial end of the "Three Stooge Special" get a taste of their own medicine for once and then whine about it.  Wisconsin rarely, if ever, gets anywhere near 7 fouls in first halves and quite often stays under 7 in second halves until late if the game is somewhat close.  They almost always get the benefit of the doubt.  Yeah, they play pretty good, fundamental defense, but it's just not realistic to think they only commit 4 or 5 fouls in a half on a regular basis.
