Don't really feel like the staff nor players were concerned about losing this game and/or let the Miami game carry forward. Nice that we're talented enough to win this type of game

Tai wasnt effectient but his points and boards were big.

  • Career high for Andrew White.

Shields and White combined for more than 50 points.

6 points from the bench.

Interesting experiment starting Morrow.  Didn't work, apparently.

We're pretty good when we get out and run.  Half court needs work.

Any idea why Hammond didn't start?

Thought he might be hurt, but he got some decent minutes.

Miles decided to start Morrow to shake up the line-up.  Miles said it was his decision to do that.

Coach said he wanted to mix it up a little, thought Morrow might defend the low post better.  He admits it didn't turn out that way, hence no Morrow in 2nd half.

Until we have a scorer down low I am guessing half court will suffer.

- Good game from Andrew.  The offense was the obvious reason, but he played nice defense after he got off of #4.

- Good game from Shavon.  Again, he played well offensively and defensively.

- Decent game from Tai.  He looks more comfortable on offense, although he missed some shots that he has to make.  The dunk mishap was either comical or embarrassing...I am not sure which.  His defense on #4 was excellent.  Great job helping out as well.

- The remainder of the team had their share of ups and downs...

- Speaking of ups and downs...can any of our bigs keep our feet planted on defense?

- I was impressed with our rebounding tenacity.  We are undersized but we go hard after boards.

- I was happy with our fast break offense, but our dibble-drive offense was lacking today.

This is a game we probably lose last year.  I was glad to see the win.  That said, it was an ugly win.  This was a classic trap game and we were able to play though the lack of passion.

Last game Andrew only got 8 shots...this game Shavon only got 9.  Of course this doesn't count the number of times they were mugged today.

I'm not sure I like how Miles is toying with the lineup so much of late ... in sort of a willy-nilly way. It seemed he was trying to settle into an 8-9 man rotation prior. We are getting close to conference play. No Morrow in the 2nd half ... barely any Hammond in the first half. A Bakari Evelyn sighting in the first half. A few chances for Nick Fuller early even.

It feels a bit game-y the way he is handling McVeigh, Morrow and Hammond. Those guys have such a short leash it seems, yet Tai can do something idiotic (hanging on the rim) and not get much flack. Tai is solid defensively and I know that's why, but still.

Who's going to be at the game in Omaha on Wednesday?

That was a boring game. At least I got to take my 1 year old. I had 2 club tickets I couldn't give away. Crowd was hung over from Miami. Can't say I blame them

You know...I actually like my 119 tickets...

But the next time you are trying to give away your club tickets...let me know.

A good pick & roll finisher would be nice. Think any of our bigs could fill that role in time?

I'm planning on it!

Now if you could just tell us how to sync the radio/audio feed to the video!  (or maybe speak a little slower, wink, wink!)
