Appears to be good hire.  Though Football is his strength I believe he will continue the emphasis to improve all UNL Athletic programs.  He did a lot at Tulane and hiring Jedd Fisch at UW softened the blow of DeBoer’s departure.  I like that he is a Midwesterner.  Let’s hope Iowa or Iowa St. jobs don’t open soon!

Garfield’s assassination was tragedy for the nation. It’s my belief much of the nonsense and hate perpetrated by the Klan in the South would not have been tolerated by Garfield.
