BIG FLIPPING MIDDLE FINGER TO YOU JAMARCUS. I HOPE YOU GO SOME PLACE AND BLOW OUT BOTH ACL IN TWO DIFFERENT YEARS AND NEVER PLAY AGAIN. J AM TIRED IF THIS. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Of course if he is just doing an April Fool’s joke or decided to stay I will love him again. 🤨😎

Take some NyQuil. Get some rest. The puzzle pieces will start to come together with the open spots we have to work with.

I doubt it but Robin said Hoiberg was on the private jet to see 3 priority portal targets over the next couple days. Just gotta see how this shakes out.

I think husker nation needs to hear from Fred telling us everything is on plan and everything is fine.  We need to settle some nightmarish nerves.

I don't know that anything ever goes as planned between seasons. But what's more important to me is what you do with it.

Fred likely needs a bit of time to work with this. But it's also possible that Fred expected this and has been working some angles behind the scenes.

Someone said if you look up the tail number of the husker jet you have a pretty good idea of who he’s going to see. I’ll look into it once my kids are down

I have to wonder who we have lined up to come here for JL to leave

This is the most logical conclusion to draw.  I don't believe that another program came with a larger bag of money that we couldn't or refused to match.  The timing of his announcement also leads to this conclusion.  The players' exit meetings were over a week ago and he is later than most in entering their name in the portal.  We have been reaching out to numerous players, as have most programs.  I can only surmise, and maybe hope, we have some irons in the fire we feel very confident in that caused JLaw to question his role and playing time going forward.

Regardless, I wish JLaw the best.  He was pivotal to the team's succuss down the stretch this year.

When Morrow and Jacobson left after their sophomore seasons, it really began to hit me that these guys will leave regardless of how we think they fit or like it here. And then when I see starters leaving Elite 8 teams like that evil team from east Omaha last season, it really solidified my fear that there is very little full commitment / faithfulness to one team these days. And I find that incredibly sad. I love NIL, but we need some sort of balance to roster and coach stability across the board. As some have mentioned, contracts may be in line sooner than later for players.

To put things in a sad perspective, we have lost a starting lineup better than what Collier and Sadler tended to put on the floor.

JLaw

Ramel

CJ

Rice

Blaise

If we lose Mast, Brice, or Gary, I'm officially hitting the panic button a bit. We could replace all 5 with better talent potentially, but we are losing kids who were in the program for multiple years minus Rice.

I’m not sure about that. I don’t think that lineup would finish 6th-8th in the old Big 12, which is what Collier’s and Sadler’s teams tended to do.

Maybe he turns out to be a great college player somewhere but currently Lloyd has logged less D1 minutes than Brant Banks
