Are you referring to McCollum or Wrightsell?

I was just reading something on McCollum and had his name on my brain but meant Wrightsell.  My bad.  Thank God it's Friday......

I had a co-worker tell me this morning that it was Poets day. Piss On Everything Tomorrow's Saturday...

Never heard that one before.

Would think we will target a younger big

Think that depends on what we think we'll have in BK next season because we likely need another scholarship to bring in someone like that

Copperfields in Kearney used to have POETS club on Fridays back in the 80's. Always felt that fit better than FAC.

BK, have it your way. You rule.

Blaise's body really should not be falling apart.  He is finally eating nutritionally after years of being half starved.  He has not overly stressed his body on the hardwood; but yet he has struggled now for two years with lower body issues.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the medical, weight and nutrition staff can concoct an elixir that fixes the problem(s). He could be a good option for us, especially within the Big Ten.

He was arguably the deciding factor in our Win over Wisconsin. Hope he a Mast-a-Don can prove to be a formidable duo next season.

Josiah Allick is visiting next weekend. He put up 8 and 7 for a good New Mexico team while shooting mid-50s from the floor in 32 minutes of action. He's not a high volume guy but he's efficient and he rebounds well from his position. For most of his career, he's been mid-30s from beyond the arc. The kind of guy you would want to fill out a roster that needs a versatile big who can stretch the floor and already has an abundance of guards.

You got a read on rim protection ability at all?  I haven't yet dug up video.  Edit.  A little under a block a game for the Lobos.

If only NU had a dude named Don, then Mast-&-Don could become an amazing nickname. As it is, it's Blaise & Rienk, International men of mystery.

I've advocated for this young man since high school.  W e recruited and actually had a committal from North Stars starting guard.  If you remember that guard was signed by Miles and then went to Okie State when Miles was fired. That said, that guard was not the best player on the North Star team.  The best player was Josiah.  I would welcome him here in a nano-second.  He would bring the hustle and basketball IQ that every team needs.

Very nice. Could be a solid role player and would definitely be a fan favorite like Griesel.

I’m very surprised he’s considering us - his reasons for transferring (his words) were so he could have an increased role and freedom offensively. He’s not receiving that here in terms of minutes or role.

Not sure he’s received the interest that he thought he would.  Although it looks like San Diego State is interested and he visited there this weekend.

we should’ve looked at him last off-season. We woulda been a fan favorite and a great guy to have on last years squad.

Where are you seeing that? Haven't seen it reported yet.

For the record, I would definitely take him. High high energy guy who can definitely hang with bigs from this league. He'd be the primary big off the bench I'd assume.

San Diego St would be tough to beat right now. They lost 3 of their 4 bigs who played last year and the other is testing the NBA draft but could still return.

Would love to add Allick to the rotation though.

Ya seems like a pretty easy choice unless he just wants to come back home and play for a year which would be great for us lol

i don’t think he’s a starter here tho where as he started for New Mexico and like basketballjones said he was looking for a bigger role

Never hung out there, but sounds like we were at KSC around the same time.
