This quote from the article speaks volumes to me.  This is an outsider seeing and saying this.

"“The thing that stood out to me the most was the chemistry,” Thamba said. “The guys were really bonded and a really connected unit, whether it be from the players’ standpoint or the from the coaches’ point of view. The guys were really bonded. They all knew their purpose, and just the connection with the whole team was good.”

Solid.  That’s something we haven’t heard in the past.  You can see our guys are starting to have a lot of fun.  Tuesday they were almost giddy.  The bench, even McVeigh, was going crazy.

McVeigh did that last year when he was relegated to the bench, too. I think that's just who he is. I  have noticed a lot more energy on the bench, though. Thought that was sorely lacking last year. Nana is the leader here, in that regard. Springing out to meet the guys at midcourt on time outs. That was staff and coaches last year who were the first to meet the players on the court for timeouts. This probably goes in a different thread... @hhcdimes is there a "chemistry" thread?

As much as I would love for us to find the missing piece to our puzzle, I'm guessing if development is his number 1 priority, then we're probably not it. However, if he's looking for some immediate playing time while he develops, then we got a shot.
