Battle and Bouie pouting and refusing to congratulate keisei after he wins it. Go figure

To be fair, Buie congratulated KT after his first round and Battle did the same after KT beat him in the second. Having said this, I'm guessing they're not best buds. 🙂

Scott Van Pelt leads off Sportscenter with his “best thing I’ve seen” segment and it’s KT. Turnaround three at the buzzer. Then it’s on top ten. Sports shows are talking. Pat Mcafee going crazy. Barstool, and last night he was #2 trending topic on X (Twitter)

Husker hoops getting this much publicity in the offseason is rare, and never a bad thing.

Im just glad my last memory of him in a uniform isn’t him crying and being emotional, but him holding up two big medals!!

And let's see what KT30 does in the NABC All-Star game at 5:30 pm today.... D-WALK played in that game last season.

It's just a shame we couldn't get one more year out of him and ride this publicity vibe one last time.

It would have been an amazing ride, he's just now finding national acclaim. If NU had had a decent March Madness run, he'd have attained legendary status. Ironic that Keisei mopped the floor with that Oakland guy who had 10 threes against UK.

To be fair to the Oakland guy, he'd never been in a 3pt contest before whereas I've seen of video of what looks like Keisei at about the age of 9 running through this

Stohke also had a funky delivery, his hand was on top of the ball, not great for that type of event. And, yeah, KT30 was built for the moment! Wow, he stole the show. Loved it.

In the highlights after it was over it looked like Reink was there as they showed someone congratulating Keisei that sure looked like Reink.

    And wearing a Hawaiian shirt

    1. Love Mast in a hawaiian shirt

    2. My favorite moment was when Keisei waited to do the buzzer beater the second time and that money ball got him in the finals.

    Just remember:

Jack Gohlke:  Is not Peewaukee High School's all time leading scorer.

Nick Janowski:  Is Peewaukee High School's all time leading scorer.

Oakland guy is also very much a jump shooter. Participating in a set shooting contest.

Maybe at the time, but rewatching it now, it's nothing too impressive.

That last moneyball shot though?  Ball is still in the air and Bird puts up one finger and is walking away.

I think that x user changed how it was stated.  It now says "cockiest."  I think last night it said something like best final shot.

Going to be disappointed if Pete Gillan isn't on the call given he calls every single CBS Network game I've ever seen.

Too bad he wasn't calling the first round game in 1991 rather than coaching it
