There are only so many halftime ass chewings and white boards you can break before the message is no longer effective. The change going forward has to be player led.

Having said that, the sky is not falling.  Despite the metrics taking a beating, we are currently still comfortably in the field. The bubble is awful this year.  Magic number is still 2 wins and the biggest impact from these beatings will simply be reflected in our seed.  We would rather be a 10 seed than an 8 or 9 anyways.  Glass half full!

I'm not worried about seeding we've struggled against the whole range historically so more likely we shock as twelve seed than piss it away as higher  seed.

True but we got some very tough games ahead and we need at least 2 if not 3…

We had 7 turnovers in a 9 possession span early on. Got to a 12 point deficit quickly and that was pretty much it. No more talk about wanting to get off to better starts. Just freaking do it. A good start doesn't mean you need to come out on fire shooting the ball. Just take care of the ball, be smart and play hard defensively.

Juwan has 1 total defensive rebound in the last three games. That needs to change. Last year, he was the glue guy who could impact games in a number of ways even when he wasn't scoring. He's not defending or rebounding at the same level this year.

Metrics that update quickly are… tough.

KenPom 5 point drop

T-Rank 8 point drop.

Yeah, by the end of the regular season I really don't think 19 will be enough. Think we're gonna need three more to go dancing.

Horrific coaching.  For further details see the game thread.  I honestly cannot believe how bad a job our staff is doing with so many things.

Horrible take.   No understanding of the profound weaknesses of most of our players.   Bitch about roster acquisition.  Coaching has been very good all season, having to put this lineup out there every night.

Did we knock Northwestern out of a Quad 1 win as the result of our loss tonight? 😄

We might have knocked Penn St into Quad 1 loss territory

No coach in the history of college basketball would have won with our effort tonight, especially on defense.  Now, if you want to bitch about the coaches not having them ready.  That's fair game.
