That was what I thought too.   There were a few years back then when their program was down and there were more Nebraska fans at the games in Omaha than Creighton fans.

I sure woulda thought so, but the chyron at the end of the game said it was the first time we'd won consecutive road games in series history. I think you're right and the stats guys who come up with the chyrons need to do better research.

 

Maybe they meant "this century."

Per ESPN... Creighton's (10) 2 point FG attempts were the fewest in any game in the country this year.  Why only 10... because they were scared out of their minds and we bullied the hell out of them!

We had over 25 FT attempts and 20 FT makes for the 5th consecutive games.  Going back to 2010 we've never done that. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the first time.

 

 

This is the 4th consecutive win for the road team in this series. That's the first time that's ever happened.

We are just a better team than them, it’s as simple as that. We didn’t play all that well and still whooped them from start to finish.

 

Good to see the real Juwan back.

 

Shoutout to Meah. He is who he is, and we can’t expect something other than that, but he will help us win some games.

 

Connor is going to be one of our most important players. He likely won’t be as good as Keisei, but he has to play that role. Never stop running on offense and shoot a lot of threes

 

We are going to win a lot of games this year.

Creighton's upcoming schedule looks tough.  Do I root for them to help the NET or not?

 

Nebraska is still working on becoming a great team.  If we can start hitting some threes...  The next two games aren't automatic.  We need to get better.

 

I thought everyone gave us good minutes tonight.  There were only a couple turnovers that weren't good.  Griffiths in the first half.  Then Worster trying to get the ball to Morgan in the 2nd half.
