His numbers from 3 look impressive (124-274) By comparison, Keisei in his final year at JUCO was 48.7% (94-193). It looks like he can create his own shot and can score from multiple levels. Fred will heckle him for those step in long 2s. I like kicking the tires though, could be Brice Williams 2.0

Speaking of Brice Williams 2.0 go look up picture of Terran Petteway today, he could be Williams doppleganger.

A combo guard?!  What’s with that (although 45.3% from three isn’t bad)?

Edit: An Omaha Bryan product?!

He played at Bryan as a junior in 2020-21, and averaged 5 points a game.

I'm assuming he then went to PHHonenix prep with his twin brother Abdi, who was a freshman last year at Monmouth.  Abdi's bio:

While jucos can be so hit (Keisei) or miss (Jervay), might not be a bad guy to look at. Put some weight on him, and we could have something special. He can create his own shot, make tough shots, hit 3s at a nice clip, and he appears to be a willing passer. Plus, as Fred has collected much more "team player" talent than "me" talent, he can sit guys who get greedy and don't play within the confines of the system. Win-win if he's interested. Hopefully being from Nebraska (albeit not Lincoln), he'd have good buy-in.

Abdul Bashir's numbers decreased in conference play for the T-Birds, from 46.3% to 41.9% on all shooting, from 45.3% to 38.3% on threes, and from 78.5% to 77.5% on FTs. All solid, solid numbers for a 6'-7" combo guard. I'd take a flyer that Abdul's a taller version of Keisei, grab Abdul's bro Abdi while NU's at it, tbh. Plenty of options with tall dudes who can fill it up from the land of plenty! GBR!

Get a big name coach and throw around a lot of NIL money.

It's crazy, but "a lot" is an understatement. Very, very few schools have a booster similar to Mike Repole who is solely committed to men's basketball.

So, how does Warren Buffett feel about Nebraska basketball?

Well this has gone quiet. I figured we would get word on Berke's visit  schedule.

As far as I can tell he hasn't scheduled a trip anywhere. Iowa has been mentioned as well.
