I'm more focused on us getting wins in conference play than I am some against some particular non-conference opponent to be honest.

Winning last night did more for keeping us in the bubble hunt than a result on Sunday; more to lose with last night's game.

I was just hoping that when we played Creighton that it was going to be two undefeated teams. I want us to get conference wins as much as everyone else here, didn't mean to offend you.

Colorado State may be very good.  I thought I read that in the pre-season 'secret scrimmage' between Colorado State and Minnesota, Colorado State beat Minnesota by over 40 points.  I was encouraged by these results thinking that we would get two easy wins over Minnesota this year.  Minnesota may not be the patsy that I thought.

Ok...what's the scoop  Is CO State that good or was this a fluke?

Creighton could not hit a shot and looked like a tired team.  State controlled tempo and defended pretty well.  The jays do not look as athletic without the two starters they lost in the off season.  They still have shooters and today was a bit of a fluke and I'm sure we will see a different team in Lincoln on December 3rd.

:D not at all!

My point was that our bubble hopes were likely more impacted from our last game, not the next one. But an undefeated matchup would have made that particular matchup more hyped. I, personally, just think our successes and failures are independent from some other school in Nebraska. Doesn't mean it can't be fun though!

I agree with you for sure.  If we take care of what we can take care of and avoid any bad slip ups in the non-con the Creighton game is almost irrelevant to what our goals for the season are.  Sure, if we can manage to pull off the upset against them it might change the calculus for us a little bit, but other than that there is almost nothing to lose for us against them; other than maybe a little pride and bragging rights for a year.

In my mind Creighton cannot be as good without Nemhard and Kalumba.  Their replacements are not as good.  We need to focus on Fullerton and then the Jays.

ya. Ol Assworth has not been very impressive in my eyes

I don’t watch CU much, I despise them with everything I have and take great pleasure when they lose. I’ve been in an office with 70% Jay alums and trust me fellas, I want this game more than any other game and I know it’s all due to personal reasons. Donuts for the entire office are on the line. But the trash talking from the sweaters is unbearable at times. I’m always reminded they’ve won in the tournament we can’t ever seem to make.

IMHO, Baylor is having to shoulder the load offensively because Kaluma and Nembhard were athletic enough to drive to the rim and put pressure on the defense. Ashworth isn’t the same. If the outside shots aren’t falling they quickly show themselves as a one dimensional team.

The funny part is he never tweeted again about it. It's as if it never happened, only other one I saw was about the 3rd place contest. . . oopsie poopsie. 😉

John Bishop is a tool.  He is one of those people that can’t ever admit when he is wrong, and always comes back with some bullshit excuse.  I hope we destroy them on December 3rd, but I got a feeling we’ll see a completely different Crayton team than the one that played today.

Yeah, that's a likely scenario on all accounts. . .
