By the way, I believe (and please correct me if I am wrong) he is not a blood cousin of Bryce and Trey.  I believe they are close friends, so they are like brothers or cousins.

Just so I get this straight-He will be a true freshman on next year's team? Is there a chance he may grow a bit more before he arrives?

I don't hate it, McGowens have a lot of talented relatives/friends. GBR!!

From watching some highlights, he is a true point guard. Looks to pass first. His release on his jump shot looks a little low, but I am no expert on that. He does make some nice steals as well. Really a nice looking player.

The biggest takeaway for me is that we recruited a PG to play PG

Otherwise, his size seemed out of place for what we tend to look for.
