If that is not a perfect landing spot for Tim Miles, I don't know what is.

I know he's a South Dakotan, but that's a HUGE step down.  I don't think he'll get a P5 head coaching position right away, but I could see him going to the MVC, Mountain West, CUSA, etc.  The Summitt League would be a massive downgrade from the Big Ten.  I know we're paying him the next 2 years, but Otzelberger made $350k at SDSU last year.

I think he'd be better served to get a TV gig for 1 year before immediately settling for a Summitt League position.  Just my opinion.

Wonder if Timmy Smiles would entertain the Woo Pig Sooie........ Dana Altman & his wife thoroughly enjoyed their 15 min. in Fayetteville. ?

That was SOOO funny.  They handed Altman a hat, and he wouldn't even put that on.  And the look on his wife's face was priceless.  I think they both wanted to turn and run at that exact moment....

Arkansas or Washington State would be a good landing spot for Tim, IMHO.  Both are down programs right now, and Miles has turned around every place he has been.  The problem is his dad is up in age, and I don't think he wants to leave the area.  SDSU might be the job for the family.

Henderson will be good from the standpoint of keeping their recruits I believe.  Was selfishly hoping that grill

reopened recruiting as I would think he would be s guy that Hoiberg might like if he comes here.  Henderson I believe was a big  part of landing Grill and also scheierman from Aurora.

Eric Henderson is a good guy. Good luck to him.

Now that Baylor Scheierman from Aurora is going to SDSU, I'm gonna be a fan of E.H. Hope it all works out well for the Jacks. They've established a fairly well-oiled machine in The Summit.
