Swan88 Posted May 28, 2018 Report Posted May 28, 2018 Sipple has a good point in this article: “Bottom line, Palmer and Copeland’s return is a show of confidence in the program -- and yes, in the head coach. Don’t underplay that part of the discussion.” Jugular, Faux Mike Peltz, Red Don and 2 others 2 3 Quote
lang Posted May 28, 2018 Report Posted May 28, 2018 Wow, this so great. Second season in a row when it seems like everything going south against Miles after the seasons end (and those followed the Andrew White betrayal summer). And just like last year, things start happening positively. So happy for him. Rooting for him big time. Jugular, Swan88, Red Don and 1 other 1 3 Quote

Faux Mike Peltz Posted May 28, 2018 Report Posted May 28, 2018 So...where was the ominous roster news from back in March? If we get through this offseason only losing Jack, I’d say we made it through the summer just fine! Bugeaters1 1 Quote

No. Need a shooter in there and don’t think you want to play all 3 of your frontcourt players at the same time. Need to stagger the rotation a bit jayschool and B-town hoopsfan 1 1 Quote

Huskerpapa Posted May 28, 2018 Report Posted May 28, 2018 The rotation should be interesting. Sure bets seem to be Thomas, James, Glynn, Isaiah, Isaac and Jordy. Fighting for the next two or three spots will be interesting. It would seem that we will have good depth. At this moment I would guess that Tanner would likely be a strong candidate partially due to need. Quote

I think NaNa might be the odd man out there. Harris will play. Think Borchardt sees some spot time right now, depending if we find another big. Hopefully we do. Quote

Ashfan Posted May 28, 2018 Report Posted May 28, 2018 Copeland back. Palmer back. And a pretty young woman suggested we go out for coffee sometime. Yep, this is definitely an alternate reality. Silverbacked1, Swan88, Cazzie22 and 1 other 4 Quote

If nana can understand the defense he’s gonna play. He’s 6’6” ish and can shoot it Quote

I think he'd be ready. It'd be ideal because of what's around him too. Yeah. Jordy off the bench. Roby and Copeland need to play as much as possible. Give Jordy 10-15mpg depending how quickly he's piling up fouls that game. Handy Johnson 1 Quote
tcp Posted May 29, 2018 Report Posted May 29, 2018 well, golly, this is solid news. thanks. I guess I can cancel that order for my "NebrasketcaseBall" t-shirt. Quote
huskerbaseball13 Posted May 29, 2018 Report Posted May 29, 2018 Late to the party but sound the cowbell. I had a decent feeling Palmer would be back but did not expect Isaac back. I thought we could still be a pretty good team with losing Copeland but getting him back is just icing on the cake. Our 7-8 man rotation is going to be pretty darn good. If someone like Thor or Nana takes the next step and gets us some good minutes watch out. Quote
