The intensity of these games is a joy to watch.  Players giving their all on plays throughout the game.  Houston and BYU were forced to battle to the wire after nearly giving away nice leads.  The Big XII had a good day with three winners.

Intensity is fantastic; but man, the physicality is unflipping believable.  Who made the decision to allow games be as physical as they are?

I had to remind some Salty Creighton Fans at the Bar tonight as time ticked off the Clock that Nebraska had beaten them too, then they got REALLY mad & Swore at me.

I agree.  Where is freedom of movement?  Strength and power are allowed to restrict skill.  It’s a wonder more tempers aren’t lost going for a rebound.  Players are allowed to move, push or shove to get position.

Ya he deserved that - that was not unintentional contact to the groin area. I learned you can’t have a flagrant 1 in groin contact. Rule states if you don’t think it was completely unintentional then goes straight to a flagrant 2. So the only option the refs had were no call at all or goodbye. They made the right call.

Then why aren't our opponents called for a Flagrant 2 in every single game we play? Because it sure feels like a swift kick to the nuts.
