I actually thought Ben Johnson was a decent coach. He probably deserved better than those rodents anyway.

I think Johnson was handcuffed with a lack of NIL money.  He did the best he could with the talent he brought in.  Why does this sound familiar?

Ben Johnson seems like a good dude and a decent coach. Impossible to say it’s a good/bad move without knowing what’s going on behind the scenes. If boosters said “move on from BJ, hire Medved and we will double your NIL pool this offseason” - as an AD you have to pull the trigger right?

For the most part, BJ got the most out of his players and they always seemed to get better as the year went on.
