Gotta make sure you’re a good candidate for it though. I have a cousin who went blind in one eye after.

I mostly wear contacts and for me, the risk of losing my sight is definitely not worth removing the inconvenience of taking contacts in and out everyday.

I was the guy going blind about a decade ago.... and, miracles do happen, after a slew of seven eye surgeries, I can see clearly now. The marvels of modern medical treatment and the capable hands of Dr. Lance Kugler, and no, I don't get paid to promote his wares. lol.

Something I often think about is how 90's  Husker football players talk about Tom Osborne practices, and how they were more competitive and just harder and more exhausting than the games were. Jason Peter cites that as THE reason for their success in that era. I'm sure the all-american and NFL talent also had something to do with it.

I literally thought about this during the first half of the Penn State game, when it looked like our three ball handlers (Brice, Rollie, Sam) had absolutely no idea Penn St's guards were capable of harassing them and turning them over. Looked like deer in headlights. I couldn't believe it.

Anyhow, it's not just the uncontested, mid-air improvised reverse dunk in this video that no college player does in-game ever. I've never seen Juwan Gary look so comfortable handling and passing the ball in a game in his Husker career. That was a beautiful, feathery pass. And it looks like they're going full-court, live right there. Not just a session where they're working on halfcourt sets.

Definitely not fair of me to make assumptions off of a single offseason social media video. Maybe it's somethin. Maybe it's nothin. But it's something I've wondered about the culture since Fred's first year here. Jimmy Butler's comments about his practices being soft also might be somethin or nothin.  One thing I am sure of is that Tom Izzo's practices are pure hell and not fun for his players.

2 of our 3 best ball handlers weren’t very good.   That’s the bigger issue.
