Not much to say.  Offense wasn't the issue per se.  But defensively we were abused by a team that was supposed to be offensively challenged.

 

I am disappointed and very, very sad.

Tonight hurts. But I refuse to say this season was a failure. So many good memories from this season. Let's do it again next year.

loved this year and this team…but another off season playing this song and wondering if this little hole in my heart will ever get filled.  But man, what a ride, 23-11 is still pretty damn good.

We can't reinvent the team though.  We have recruited to who we are and what we are.  Next years current recruits are fa reflection of who we are.

Them making their 1st 5 3's really hurt.  We started to get out a little more, and they were able to get to the lane.  They shoot like they did all year, and we have a good shot at this.

Indeed, nothing close to a failure. They overachieved. Projected 3rd from last and finished 3rd from the top. It’s now on Fred to increase the margin for error. Talent and athleticism must improve.

I will attempt to put a positive spin on things at this very sad point.  We were a much better team than most thought possible.  We were picked 12th in our league...yet finished third.we had no clue what our line up would do; they gelled and brought great joy.  We had a player (Keisei) that received national recognition.  Our team was nationally embraced.  We made the NCAA tournament, while many may have been satisfied with NIT type improvement.  So I am upset...but man, what a great ride.
