My vote is for Chucky, because I really want our students to sarcastically boo him every time he touches the ball.  I think that would be hilarious.

I remember a guy from UND, think his name was like Ommot or something.  Was impressed with his ability to finish.  How’s his season progressed?  UND is doing well now and he might be somewhat realistic.

NBA minimum is $1.1 million, although that wouldn't be for a 1st rounder. I'll bet Kentucky could match that if it was somebody they really wanted. 

 

Caitlin Clark could earn NIL to match the WNBA's top salary of $250,000.

I'd love to see Owen Freeman from Iowa. Needs to get over his tendency to get into foul trouble, and he hasn't show a three-point game, but would be a nice replacement for Allick.

That UND squad had a couple of guys that would be nice pieces in a Hoiberg offense...B.J. Omot & Tyree Ihenacho.  At least they looked that way when they played us.

He’s averaging over 17 a game, making more than 50% of his shots, and seems not to foul a lot. Has 13 games of more than 20 points, including 24 against Iowa, so not an outlier against us. For his size you’d like to see a little stronger rebounding numbers, but overall his numbers are similar to Allick with better scoring, and less rebounding. I think there could definitely be a role for him on a P5 roster.

Without having specific guys in mind, I would love to see a roster built like this year's going forward each season. Fred and company couldn't have constructed it much better besides a more true PG perhaps. But our PG by committee, as well as letting Reink essentially set the table, tends to be a match-up nightmare in our favor! Continue to find the Juwans and Josiahs of the world, and rarely will we get outhustled or lose the toughness battle.
