Boy, I wonder what the message boards are like over there especially with Haliburton deciding to go pro now too....

They're pretty much in the acceptance phase now.  It's pretty sad.

Ed Crosswell (La Salle) and Brycen Goodine (Syracuse) are both committed to Providence so they are off the board.

Also, we did not make the top five for Erik Stevenson (Wichita State).

Illinois wing Alan Griffin will transfer, per his Twitter page. Was in position to potentially be a starter for the Illini next season.

Okay, now I want this guy and DJ Carton.  We'd have half the league pissed at us!

This is from a news report:

Griffin, a 6-foot-5 wing from Ossining, N.Y., was easily the most reliable three-point shooting options on the Illini during the 2019-20 campaign as the son of former NBA veteran Adrian Griffin knocked down 41.6 percent from beyond the arc. Unless he receives a waiver from the NCAA, Griffin, who averaged 8.9 points per game and 4.5 rebounds in just 18 minutes per contest, will have two years of eligibility remaining for any Division 1 program after he sits out the 2020-21 season.

Was I the only one that  checked to see if Hoiberg and Adrian Griffin were ever teammates? Looks like they just missed each other in Chicago. Both as players and as coaches

If we could even split the difference between these two I'd be pretty pleased.  Both would be AWESOME!!

We should take a look at this Southern Illinois F who is transferring.  Kerrington Davis.  Anyone know anything about him?  He has 3 years to play.  😏

I wonder if he could be related to Karrington Davis who used to redshirt for the Cornhuskers??? 🙄😛

Nebraska staff just spoke with Illinois transfer Alan Griffin and extended an offer, a source told
@Stockrisers
. 20+ programs quickly involved.

Chris Basnett
@HuskerExtraCB

Averaged 9 points per game and shot almost 42% from three-point range for Illinois this season. NU assistant Matt Abdelmassih offered him while Abdelmassih was at St. John's

On paper looks like a nice player to add but I am going to pass after seeing this.

He not only stepped on the guy,  he threw a palm blow to the guy's groin prior to that.   Shades of Brad Davidson?   Pass.

He's pretty normal looking, I don't know how he fits in at Iowa.

Maybe the water is better in Bettendorf, Iowa where he is from

Sounds like things are progressing with Trey McGowens.

Having bet many of Pitt games this past year I will say McGowens has a lot of potential. Pitt’s offense in general was just out of funk most games it seemed. I would be very happy with landing Trey.

Nebraska has reached out to 6'8 G Trey Murphey III (Rice). He is a sit one to play two. Posted really nice stats (leading scorer and  second in minutes) and shooting percentages (43/37/84) across the board.

Will be "for sure" giving Creighton and Connecticut a virtual visit.
