Anyone who says we don't deserve to be in is full of it.  I could give a crap about metrics.  I could give a crap about bracketologists.  I could give a crap about what national pundits say.  This team deserves to be in.  Period.  You won't convince me otherwise.

I don't know why, but I have this weird feeling that we just clinched a play-in game at least.  A win Friday moves us to a bye.

I'll be shocked if we're not #1 or #2 in the "First Four Out." Lunardi has been doing his song and dance orchestrating it where we needed to get to the Double Bye and beat Michigan all along.

Was saying this in the game thread.  $EC talking heads think their crappy conference deserves 8 teams and are justifying way.  Our network is belittling teams.

Here's the problem with these national guys.  They have probably never watched Nebraska play this year.  They just look at these numbers, and Nebraska hasn't beaten anybody.  They beat Wisconsin on the road.  The same Wisconsin team who beat Purdue, and took Michigan State to the wire.  They beat Michigan by 20, and Penn State by 12 (in a game not even that close). Penn State beat Ohio State twice.  

 

Now, look at their quad one road games :

 

Michigan State quad one game at home.

Creighton quad two game at home.  Could move into a quad one game at home.

Purdue quad one game at home

Ohio State quad one game at home

 

4 of our 11 road games were to teams who have a chance to be quad 1 games, if we played them in Lincoln.

 

Add to that, we went 6 - 8 away from Lincoln.

 

Not only that, I think Ramussessen loves us, and will try to find a way to get us in.

What I find most unbelievable this season is that our longest losing streak was two. And we only hit that streak once!
