That's the one that NU needed to have a legit shot at the NCAA's by virtue of the road win against a top 10 team! Not many bubble teams ever have one of those in their bag... now get a couple of home victories & NU is straddling top 4 territory in the best league!!

And with a chance at home against current RPI #6 Wisconsin. Get to that game winning the ones we should, and that game gives us a chance to dance. Still might need 1 in the tourney, but then again, maybe not.

For Nebrasketball to seriously be considered for the tourney, we need to win out.  That will leave us at 20-10. 12-6 in the conference, and, probably, a 3-4 seed in the BIG tourney.  Most importantly, we would be 9-1 going into the BIG and clearly putting our bad losses well behind us.  

 

I think it could happen.

For Nebrasketball to seriously be considered for the tourney, we need to win out.  That will leave us at 20-10. 12-6 in the conference, and, probably, a 3-4 seed in the BIG tourney.  Most importantly, we would be 9-1 going into the BIG and clearly putting our bad losses well behind us.  

 

I think it could happen.

Doesn't the tourney selection committee take into consideration how a team does in their final 10 games? Finishing hot has to be a bonus.

I want us not to think about March...today that is fough.  But still, we have to fight and claw and continue to find ways to improve.  If we can continue this upward trend...then...oh my.

It's a nice feeling to get a B1G win in East Lansing (and a 2nd straight win away from Lincoln),  i think it legitimizes the progress we've all witnessed that this ballclub has made defensively in the past several weeks. And, great to see Nebraska back at 6-6 after starting the conference season 1-5.

We were in this discussion 3 years ago after the Texas win at 18-8.  That one didn't go so well.

Let's see how our players handle the attention they are going to get this week.  Penn St and Purdue aren't going lay down and die on us.

So proud of the defensive effort today.  My mantra continues to be take it one game at a time.  In an earlier post, I thought we could be beat MSU with Keith Appling out.  PBA needs to be on fire next home game.

our overall record still holding us back, so I'll be joining in this after we hit about 16 wins. In the meantime, this win is glorious on its own terms

 

we need to get that win total up and probably another ten spots in the rpi before we're a serious bubble threat.

At the very least, I think this win puts us as a near lock for the NIT. I know it's nothing to brag about, but extra basketball could really help us out quite a bit.

What? We wouldn't even be close to the bubble in that situation. Would be like 6 seed territory.
