Actually, the kids they ran off are better: AJ Storr at Wisconsin, Butler's starting pg, Memphis' leading scorer, starters at 3 other schools with better records.

Add Virginia @ Virginia Tech. Virginia is currently losing 30-14. They drop to at least a 10 seed on Bracket Matrix with a double-digit loss.

Interesting. If they fail to upset UNC or Duke they will certainly be on the bubble going into the ACC tourney.

Tech can’t play their way in though I’d assume.

Absolutely-- KSU is so far from the bubble and you get to root against Texas.  It's a double win.  Just don't do the "horns down" or you might get kicked out of the establishment you're in.

K-State is our only road win. We want them to win every single game. That win needs to look as good as possible, and is easily worth the tradeoff of them climbing into the bubble race.
