For the record those videos aren't meant really to be traditional "highlight tapes." They are meant to show players strengths, weaknesses, as well as how they score. I believe they put out vidoes for dang near every transfer

Re: Tre White

I know they were in on him pretty early, and he's visited Louisville and is setting up a visit to Alabama soon. Player profile is a long-ish wing that can probably play up to the 2 guard and if he puts on some muscle play down to the 4 in certain lineups. This could be a case of just trying to get talent and figure everything out later. 3 ball needs some work though. He basically got recruited over with Collier and it seems like bronny is heading there.

we are 2 deep at every position, so just get best players available.

pg lawrence, ulis

sg tominaga, lloyd, hoiberg

sf brice williams, wilcher

pf gary, allick, rice

c keita, mast

but i guess ideally you'd want another guard who can handle the ball and a center. i'm not convinced keita can stay healthy for a whole year.

Rice is a 4?

I probably got that started, so blame me. I've been calling him that since we first signed him. Rivals lists him at 6'7, 210#, which, coming out of HS, is pretty beefy. That's about Juwan Gary's dimensions. And, when I look at his game, it just strikes me that it translates more to a stretch 4 than a shooting guard.  I think his frame will easily support another 20-25 pounds of muscle. He has good range as a shooter, but I don't see him having the quickness to guard Big Ten 1s and 2s.

Yeah, on offense we’re pretty interchangeable, with exceptions for “center” and “point guard”. I think attributing a 1-5 role is more meaningful for defensive assignments/capabilities.

Think of the Offensive Firepower we could/should have if Wilcher “Steps Up”!

We could still use a true stretch 4 who can rebound.  We still haven’t been able to put out a lineup where all 5 guys can shoot it from three while maintaining traditional defensive positions under Hoiberg.  Mast and a true stretch 4 (6’8” 230 or so would be great).

Sounds like we’re working on one.

By some strange coincidence the player from Helskinki that they just offered is listed at 6'8", 230.

Who is that?  I must have missed it

Speaking of Yvan Ouedraogo, I looked up his stats just now and, remarkably, he averaged more points and rebounds as a 17-year-old true freshman at Nebraska than he did last year as a 4th-year player at Grand Canyon U. How is that even possible?

We were really bad?
