Additional background on Loensers.  (If he's the guy)

https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bulls/bulls-pick-2020-21-option-assistant-coach-nate-loensers-contract

Loenser is well-liked and well-respected by players as varied as Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine and Spencer Dinwiddie, and has developed a strong reputation for player development.

Fred Hoiberg hired Loenser as video coordinator in 2015-16 and Loenser then served as head coach of the G League Windy City Bulls — where he coached Dinwiddie — in 2016-17. Dinwiddie consistently raved about Loenser.

Hoiberg then moved Loenser to a behind-the-bench assistant coaching role for the Bulls in 2017-18. Jim Boylen moved Loenser to his current role as an on-bench assistant coach when he replaced Hoiberg in December 2018.

Quinn Snyder?

Snyder is a fantastic coach and and has one of the highest IQs in basketball.  Dude got a doctorate while also working as an assistant coach at Duke.  All that being said, there's no way he is returning to college athletics for anything other than the Duke HC job.  He is having way too much success with the Jazz, and with a relatively young team that should be competitive for the foreseeable future.  Also, the way things ended at Mizzou really soured him on the NCAA.

Didn't know that about him. Double Major, JD and an MBA - damn.... He definitely sticks out like a sore thumb on coach K's coaching tree. Mike Brey as well - the rest of that tree is really "meh".

Idk if it necessarily goes in here but I didn’t get the Rutgers unrest with pikiell earlier in the season and it makes even less sense today even if they don’t win. They were a dumpster fire five years ago and he’s made them into top half of the BIG and ncaa teams the last two season.  They always have had a competent big guy since he got there, he recruits some long players and by their rankings he’s done a hell of a job coaching them up. Not to mention he’s got some high impact transfers the last two years.

I think Rutgers going conservative late cost them the game. Keep attacking and get Ron Harper the ball.

The way things ended at Missouri were 100% his fault. Maybe now that he has some years on himself that would not be the case.

Not the Tim Miles assistant you might expect

You think Tim might coach under Johnson? Inexperienced guy that needs a veteran guy on his bench, Tim has an affinity for Minnesota, obviously they know each other well.

Suspect he'd rather podcast than be an assistant.

Seems like he could get that San Jose St job in the MWC if he wanted to.

No chance.   Zero.
