I’m going to give the guy who gets criticized a lot - a lot of credit for his play down the stretch, and that’s Brax. You can’t teach 7’1” with a wingspan like that. He had a few plays where altered shots and his break up of that lob was absolutely huge. And his FT shooting was good too. I know it’s matchup based, but he helped us win today.

I might be the biggest meah hater on the board and he’s more than earned whatever he got for NIL these last two games….outside of Williams and Gary he’s the reason we won the game today, played probably 25+ minutes too 

The ironic thing about this season for me is I have probably given up on this team more than any other the prior 35+ seasons combined...And I still feel completely validated in that statistic.

Meah 23 minutes Morgan 17. And I don't remember how much Morgan played in 2nd half. It was the Braxton show.

Brice and Martinelli each played 39.

When asked by Kent, Fred said he had a little incident with a white board at half.

He said that he is on blood thinners, so he was bleeding and it didn't stop, hence the bandage

How many teams can have 2 starters not score and win? Granted Sam and Rollie only took 5 shots but their 5 rebounds and 7 assists help. Meah with 10 and 7 and Connors 8-4-2 stat line. And how many saw his 3 go in after Meah got called for illegal screen and flagrant review sequence?

And someone said Big 10 road teams had won 6 in row coming into today? We made it 8.

I can’t begin to imagine how that even happened, he’s money all of a sudden though and his form seems good 

Really gutsy comeback performance after everything went wrong in the second half.

Brice and Juwan were struggling and frustrated - but they kept their heads in the game and found the determination to lead the comeback.   Connor also really looked lost but found a way to contribute positively in the 2nd half.   Meah was also a big positive at a key time given it may have been Morgan's worst Husker game. 

We needed this win.   If we can get another one on the road Wednesday people will again start talking about seeding and not about bubbles.   That said - one game at a time needs to be the mantra for the team. 

P.S.    Maybe just a pet peeve of mine - but would be "nice" if board members could try to remember he spells his name Brice - not Bryce :)

I'm glad our coach isn't as irrational as I am. I woulda benched just about everyone with 18 minutes left. 

Let's find a way to get off to a better start against Penn State.

I was saying it in the game thread.

That was our biggest comeback in the B1G era. (20)

We've had a couple of 19 point comebacks at home  - Wisconsin last season and Iowa in 2013

Upon further research, the 20 point comeback ties a school record

Erased two double-digit second-half deficits on the road in a two-week span. Let's not need to do that Wednesday and give Fred's hand time to heal.

With 15:31 left Northwestern was ahead by 18 and we had almost zero room for error left. Then Nebraska outscored them 36-14 the rest of the way. Just wild. 

It doesn't matter, but that should've been a clear path foul on Northwestern at the very end.
