I hope that's not true. I feel it would hurt our chances greatly if he plays HS ball elsewhere.

 

I want him to develop, but if he does, and the big boys come calling, I don't think he would end up here either.  It would be a gamble... but we might be pushing him to head somewhere else.

They were talking about Gatorade POY contenders for next season and they mentioned several names--and then said something about one name not being mentioned. I was a little preoccupied but I think something was said about him going somewhere closer to a school he wanted an offer from?

Hints on the radio this morning that Ed will not be playing ball in Omaha next school year?

They were talking about Gatorade POY contenders for next season and they mentioned several names--and then said something about one name not being mentioned. I was a little preoccupied but I think something was said about him going somewhere closer to a school he wanted an offer from?

 

 

Hints on the radio this morning that Ed will not be playing ball in Omaha next school year?

 

What are the rumblings, jugular?

 

 

Would that be on 1620 sports talk radio in the morning?!?

He plays for Mokan Elite out of KC. If he transfers, it's probably down to that area. And that's not good for us.

IDK...we have had pretty good luck recruiting out of the KC area.

The full story is Luol Deng has been in contact with Chang. He wanted Chang to visit Blair Academy, Ed was going to but it sounds like his mother put the foot down for NOW. Deng is still in contact with him.

Yes that's what I'm referring to.  I think him staying at Papio is probably best for us in terms of his recruitment.
