Take this for what you want, and I don't know that this is what that tweet is about, but I know that Natham told one of my good friends, who sits by him in Biology, that he was thinking about transferring to Texas A&M.

This was while he was still hurt, so he was probably a little frustrated and hopefully with the extra playing time he will have those thoughts leave his mind.

I haven't said anything earlier because I didn't want to bring up any drama, but just know that transferring is an option.

Hopefully we make it through Christmas break, and he doesn't transfer mid semester, or even better, he doesn't transfer at all.

I sure hope he sticks it out because I like him a lot as a player. 

 

Hawkins is one of those guys who hasn't moved on mentally from high school. If you look at his Twitter feed, he left Texas physically but not emotionally. All of his conversations are still with his old high school friends. He kept his HS girlfriend, who's at A&M now. It doesn't seem like he's ever really switched over, so to speak.

 

If he is mulling a decision, it likely has a lot to do with his girlfriend and missing Texas in general.

A.  He was getting ready to fill his plate at the Chinese Buffet.

B.  He and his girl were talking about whether or not to take things to the "next level."

C.  Should he get his mom a bottle of perfume for Christmas or spend the money on Chipotle?

D.  He was filling out his schedule for next semester and couldn't decide between Intro to Sociology or Beginning Drawing.

E.  "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" was up against "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and his Tevo wasn't working.

F.  He couldn't decide whether to play "Temple Run" or "Temple Run 2."

G.  Someone posed to him the question:  "Ginger or Mary Ann?"

Gotcha. I've seen reports that said we had. How about this-Hawkins recently started following the Twitter accts from both the HC and an Assistant Coach from UT-Arlington. Is this not strange?

We're interested and would like him to visit but he won't visit until he has an offer and we won't offer until he visits. Not sure how it will end up. Either way, you may be correct that the recruitment of the Serbian is directly related to Hawkins.
