Both seem pretty terrible. And if you asked me last week, NIT doesn't shock me at all....this outcome so far for CBC does surprise me.

I like it.  Hope we can beat Dumb Bobby Hurley!  I hate how that goof ruined my bracket every year back in the day.

 

I think ASU has been just like us, a major roller coaster ride.  I know the end of the year has been ugly for them, just like us.

Also you know what would make it better? If you could play redshirt guys and not have it count against eligibility.

I have to say this is could be fun.  ASU and Colorado have the most obnoxious fans I've experienced  in person (when I lived in Tucson) so opening against the Sun Devils and beating the Buffaloes in the Final would be my dream run.

Some college athletes, especially seniors, just want to keep competing and playing the game they love. 

Ty Robinson had a blast in New York trying to get that Pinstripe participation Trophy.

Definitely can see why some wouldn’t want to play although I don’t know why when there is NIL money involved. 
 

However, this isn’t even close to the equivalent of a participation trophy.

May be in the minority, but this seems like a really good opportunity for a team like Nebraska. You don’t really need to worry about players opting out and going to the portal because most of our team is seniors. So it isn’t like we’re going to be fielding a 2nd tier team. We should have all of our top guys.

 

Combine that with the chance to earn some more $$ and the chance for Brice and Co. to showcase in Vegas. I don’t think this is as bad as some think on the outside.
